Lee Jun-ki received the “Rising Star” Award at the 2007 Louis Vuitton Hawaii International Film Festival . Lee is reported to be the biggest star to grace the event and many of his fans looked forward to his arrival in Hawaii.

The Korean actor was greeting by fans at the airport (view the YouTube video – link below). But the fans were disappointed that they did not get a photo opportunity with superstar Lee because he was whisked away quickly by bodyguards for security reasons. Some of the fans came all the way from Japan and it was reported that they were very disappointed.
Lee Jun-ki later apologized to fans for not being able to greet them properly. 
Fans loved him in the King and the Clown, Times of Dogs and Wolves and My Girl.
