Rain received the 2008 Korea Image Stepping Stone Award for promoting a positive image of Korea though popular music.
Bi…congratulations, you sure deserve the award
Since the Energizer Bunny was the one responsible for getting me hooked on all things Korean, i would be the first to say that Bi certainly deserves the award. Since his debut in 2002, Rain worked diligently and has now gained “world star” status. He has shown that hard work and determination pays off. He lives an exemplary life and is a good role model to teenagers and young fans. He has a clean cut lifestyle and has not been associated with career damaging scandals. These positive values that Rain possesses (that are not so easy to come by these days) have been recognized by the organizers.
The Corea Image Communication Institute (CICI Korea 2008) choose Rain (real name Jung Ji-hoon) as this year’s recipient. Led by president Choi Jung-wha, the institute is established to promote Korea globally.
Why is Liz traumatized? She just saw Bi’s photos at the Korea Image awards.
