Yes, we’ve all been waiting for this. Some even doubted that it will happen.

After all the taunting from Stephen Colbert, Rain magically appears (on The Colbert Report) and they both engage in a serious dance-off. And i mean serious, rigorous dancing which involves a coin-operated jukebox and a dance machine!

Ahh…the dance-off is just hilarious – loads of awkward dance moves and flying sparks.

I must say Colbert did a pretty good job in the beginning, but Rain, the dancing machine himself, literally blew his competition away. icon wink Dance Off : Rain vs. Stephen Colbert

    Ha ha ha, that’s hilarious. Colbert is one really funny guy. I was rooting for him during the dance-off!

    Rain only said one line in English, huh? “I don’t think so.”

    I was watching last night with my 62 year old mom, who is a HUGE Rain fan. At the beginning of the show he teased Rain a few times and said that Rain turned down the challenge. My mom was sad thinking Rain got bumped from the show, luckily we kept watching!

    After it was all over she ran around giggling and screaming like a schoolgirl, LOL.

    i wonder why these korean celebrities don’t know how to maximize the opportunity. he should have spoken more in english or have gotten a real interview to promote his “entry” to the US music industry.

    The end shows Colbert literally smelling rain’s smoke. I cannot see how this is bad for rain. Like anonymous said, he shld have done a proper interview

    Hey and our Rain looked really hot!! Yeah cuteness all around ah…and yeah even though it was just one line, that “I don’t think so!” sounded so niiiice….well at leat is much much better than his “I’m so excited!” with a funny accent when he started to use English…Gosh…I luv Rain!!!!

    haha! i watched this last night and i gotta say, the producers were smart to air it towards the end and build it up with small mentions of Rain during the show. Whenever he mentioned Rain I thought “ok. is he gonna come out now?”
    I gotta give it to Colbert though. He had some awesome – and hilarious – freestyle moves but Rain beat his butt in DDR. He even did `em in some fancy dancing shoes. Rain looked really good too. It’s like the old Rain.

    The danceoff is super the entertaining. I am disappointed to see Colbert being nice to Rain. Was hoping to see the man kick the Korean’s ass man. After all that trash talk it looks like Colbert has a soft spot for him after all.

    Ahhh…colbert’s hot red pants were probably the best thing in the clip…but the rest of it was pretty hot too ^_^

    colbert’s choose an outfit that makes him look like a character out of Greese. now that’s funny already. they make it seem as though rain did not appear on the show but makes an unexpected appearance at the end. but colbert’s dance moves are definitely more original.

    I liked how Colbert put his white shades over his glasses….hahaha…and his leather hooded coat magically appears. Funny stuff. I wished Rain had a proper interview..but perhaps his schedule didn’t allow it or perhaps his English still isn’t well (I mean Colbert’s character won’t take pity on him during an interview)…so only way to show his stuff is through dance.

    that was really a fun show…..i watch Colbert daily..always a laugh..still not too crazy about RAIN…learn to speak English kid..more Korean Celebrities should be feature on American TV..especially the K-Pop entertainers…..the $$$$$$are there…just learn the language..a lot of talent not being noticed..what a shame.

    of course Rain can’t do a proper interview on the Colbert show. His English is not good enough for that yet. Colbert will be doing yet another monologue if that happens. ha ha

    yeah I was watching with my mom also. Both of us are crazy about Rain and when he said Rain didn’t show up my mom stormed off to bed and I was almost in tears… I felt like my dreams were crushed ;___; luckily i watched til the end! It was gold… better than gold PLATINUM
    Bi looked so sexy too
    His butt looked nice in those pants too!

    the dance off are hilarious!!! bet rain had been practicing his line cos he sound good, w/out the heavy korean accent and all.. anyway, i think its good for rain since stephen colbert took notice of him.. hopefully next time he’ll ready for full interview with S.C..bet it will be funny!!

    YAY! I think Rain finally did something truly American ~ satirical self-defamation! This is the epitome of SNL materials through and through ~ I’m so proud of him! He probably just bought himself a new ticket into the US market. Go Rain Go!

    *i watched SPEED RACER yesterday during the premiere in cineleisure… his english was awesome. it was very clear. don’t care whether he just memorized it or what but thumbs up to you Rain!

    I loved the Dance Off! I like that he hasn’t done a full interview just yet since he’s just dipping his toe in American pop culture. In addition to Speed Racer, he has Colbert to thank for making him a household name. An entire interview will come in time. :)

    Oh yes! Rain is getting known in the States…Kungfu Panda (starring Jack Black) is coming soon. Rain sings the theme song! KaPOW!

    He debuts with acting in Speed Racer.
    He shows his dance moves on The Colbert Report.
    Soon he will be singing the Kungfu Panda theme song!
    Oh almost forgot…he modeled for Calvin Klein jeans.

    I was looking up more Rain news and I stumbled upon this clip!!!!

    I am an absolute Colbert Report fan and then having yummy-hunky Rain as a guest and have him show-off his signature dance moves? Who cares if he barely spoke a word? His awesome bod says it all!
