Joining the ranks of BoA and our very own Datuk Siti Nurhaliza is Seo In-young of girl group Jewelry.

The One More Time singer has been selected to become the face of Maybelline! Yeah, she does embody the company’s advertising slogan of “MAYBE She’s Born With It” .

Here are pictures of the 24-year-old in her first photoshoot (on June 4) for Maybelline.

her hair is HOT. In fact her hair is the current Korean hairstyle phenomenon of the moment. It is literally so popular that you would think it’s some sort of school uniform.

MC Mong spots the male version of this edgy and chic ‘mushroom hair’ style.

Maybeline being a cosmetics brand obviously noticed that she’s a stylish fashionista. Her look is really trendy and modern, so haters go grab VOGUE and learn about fashion before critiquing it!

Oh man I feel old…I thought she was at least 25 or 26…I’m even older than her. I think blue is a good color on her..she actually looks pretty in that first pic (with cocktail dress). The whole unique short-do is definitely popular in Tokyo and NYC (from what I learn from my sis who works in NYC salon and got her hair done very short..the head-stylists nicknamed it the cute little Tokyo boy haircut). I guess it’s popular too in Korea (from fashionista’s comment). Seo In young definitely born with confidence, humor and charm. I think it has a flapper style to it…and I bet many Parisians have this style too. We don’t have to love it, but I think it’s best to keep an open-mind and just tolerate it…Definitely sets her apart from every other long-haired girl. Thanks.

She’s not that pretty and she’s a bit chubby. If I was to see her picture I wouldn’t buy the product hehe I guess Maybelline is just saying that even if you put their make up nothing would really happen to you hah… I hate maybelline… it sucks!

if her hairstyle is a fashion phenomena in asia right now, then my brother and i were fashion gods…we had that EXACT same hairstyle when we were 5 & 6 yrs old back in the 8o’s. no lie…i have pictures to prove it! were way ahead of our time!

she’s actually very skinny. this picture doesn’t flatter her very well. It’s great maybeline chose her to be in their ads. She has all appeal… she’s quite charming. I love her hairstyle…. my hair is really short, at first I hated it but after looking at her and how she pulled it off, made me love my hair! Short hair is really big, probably because of Victoria beckham and katie holmes:)
