There is no denying Bae Yong-joon‘s starpower.
Tourism to South Korea has increased because of Hallyu Stars, what more from the numero uno superstar – Mr. Bae.
And with that, the 36-year-old kajillionaire has been appointed as the face of South Korean tourism.
The lunchbox seller, who is also the new face of The Face $hop, received a plaque from none other than the First Lady of South Korea Kim Yoon-ok this morning at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul.

Good news for tourism in Korea, but bad news for us foreigners. Plane ticket prices to South Korea and such will only be on the rise. Sigh.
