The teaser image for the highly anticipated Korean drama “Iris” (아이리스) has been released. The drama will star Lee Byung-hun, Kim Tae-hee and Big Bang‘s TOP.
Iris is an action-spy thriller that moves away from the conventional Korean drama fare. The producers hope to draw the audience by incorporating action, romance, espionage and betrayal into the plot. Actors Lee Byung-hun, Kim Tae-hee, Jeong Jun-ho, Kim Seung-soo, Kim So-yeon and TOP make out the splendid cast.
Iris marks Lee Byung-hun’s return to the small screen after six years. His last drama project was All In (2003).
Production costs for this big budget drama is 200 billion KRW with overseas filming locations all across Asia and Europe.
The drama has a total of 20 episodes and will be aired on KBS in September!
