So Ji-sub and Gong Hyo-jin are Rising Stars
Korean stars So Ji-sub and Gong Hyo-jin were honoured at the 8th New York Asian Film Festival on June 24. The pair received the inaugural Rising Star Asia Awards.
Rising Asian stars: Gong Hyo-jin (left) and So Ji-subGong’s Crush Blush and Dachimawa Lee are being featured at the festival this year. Meanwhile, So’s Rough Cut is also being screened at the festival.
During the press conference, So said that he is looking forward to his next project. The 32-year-old said, “It could be in Korea, it could be Japan, China. And if the opportunity presents itself in the future, of course, America.”
