THE CLASS, a men’s apparel line from Korea has opened its first standalone store in Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur on 4th July 2015. CNBLUE, a popular Korean band invited to officiate the launch today. The brand is under the umbrella of one of the biggest apparel companies in Korea, Basic House, which also carries 5 other apparel brands: Basic House, Mind Bridge, Jucy Judy, Marc Brick and Spello.
THE CLASS was established in Korea in 2007 with a total of 71 standalone stores in Korea. Due to the overwhelming response from the Malaysia’s fashion industry, Basic House decided to expand their brand here with the aim to bring in the latest Korean fashion trend to Malaysia and market. The CLASS in Malaysia is managed by Parkson Branding Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Parkson Holdings Berhad. The CLASS’s first counter opened at Parkson IOI City Mall in November 2014, followed by its second counter at Parkson KLCC.

THE CLASS X CNBLUE
THE CLASS has collaborated with popular band, CNBLUE for its Spring/Summer 2015 campaign featuring the theme, “French Rock and Sportive”. This season depicts the sensibility style of French Rock with the modern and sensual style of THE CLASS and it is targeted to the young shoppers.
To present the fans a chance to get close with CNBLUE, The Class had given out free VIP Passes to shoppers when they spent RM250 nett and above in a single receipt. VIP Pass holders were entitled to an autograph from CNBLUE. In addition, 100 pieces of Special Passes were given out to shoppers who spent RM100 nett and above in a single
receipt. This has attracted more than 400 CNBLUE fans from Japan, Singapore and Indonesia came to redeem the passes at The CLASS store at Mid Valley Megamall. All the passes were redeemed within an hour.
Fans who spent a minimum of RM100 in a single receipt could also try their luck by taking a photo with CNBLUE standee to win a group photo opportunity with CNBLUE. The top 30 entries with the most creative poses were shortlisted and the Top 10 with most likes had the chance to take a group photo with CNBLUE!
