Visit ‘Korea Day 2015’ at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre this July 17-19

Hey K-poppers, if you are stuck in Kuala Lumpur during the Hari Raya break, don’t fret as there is a ‘Korea Day 2015‘ event happening from July 17 to 19 at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC, Megamall 3F) from 10am to 8pm!

Organized by the Korean Society in Malaysia, ‘Korea Day 2015’ will be held in a bigger scale compared to previous years. 70,000 people visited the event last year, hence 100,000 visitors are targeted to visit the event this time round.

Korean companies will be introducing their products to the Malaysian market as well as give local companies a platform for business networking, cultural exchange and building friendship.

The exhibition will feature Korean companies’ products from various sectors, such as agriculture, industrial, Korean Halal food, cosmetics, and wedding packages.

A Korean traditional music team called ‘Chung-Nam Guk Ak Dan(Chung-Nam traditional instrumental music group) will perform the Korean traditional instruments and as well as the Korean traditional dance on July 17 and 18. A K-pop performance will also be showcased by the Kimchi Crew on both days. On July 17, the performances start at 6pm, while on July 18 the performances start at 2pm.

The event is targeted to introduce people regardless of gender and age to Korean culture. There will also be a cooking class on July 18 at 1pm to show Malaysians how to make Korean food such as Kimchi, Korean Pancake, Bibimbap and Bulgogi.

Above this, Korean traditional plays, performances and lucky draws will give visitors a chance to win fabulous prizes. Those who want to know and experience Korean culture, tourism, food, education, and performance should visit ‘Korea Day 2015’ as entrance is FREE!
