KUALA LUMPUR – Avenue K will be organizing its first Asian Festival from 4 to 13 March 2016 at Ground Floor Atrium. Avenue K will be decorated in a fanciful oriental style atmosphere, to charm and fascinate our shoppers. The Asian Festival will showcase beauty products, food, desserts, merchandises, culture, and martial arts.
There is a surprise for the Malaysian rock fans and K-pop lovers as there will also be a showcase by a local rock sensation, Projek Pistol, and Kpop band, The Legend!
Sue Wang, General Manager of Avenue K, expressed that “We are keeping up with Avenue K’s official tagline ‘Make Friends, Create Trends’ by giving our shoppers Asian entertainment, cultures, business opportunities, friendship and also brand exposures for Asian products.”
The General Manager of Avenue K invites everyone to check out the Asian stalls at Ground Floor Atrium for many exciting offers and engaging activities such as food tasting, cooking demonstrations, beauty products trial, as well as view and purchase a variety of asiany merchandises. Kimchi lovers will get to join the kimchi making session and learn to make kimchi in their own kitchens! Avenue K shoppers can expect to see Asian labels such as Japanese groceries stall – Shojikiya, Korean restaurant – B.bap, Taiwan cosmetic brand – Omorose, and more. If you live in Kuala Lumpur, Avenue K could be the closest place for you to get the Korean’s famous fish waffle ice cream by Aboong!
The Asian Fest 2016 will be featuring a new rising K-pop Idol, The Legend. Having released a new mini album called “Sound Up”, Lee Seung Tae, Roi (Qin Fen), Ryu Jae Hyuk, Lito (Kim Minjun), and Lee Changsun, will be in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the first time for a meet and greet session at Avenue K on 5 March 2016, 4.00pm. The opening of this session will be rocked by one of Malaysian’s renowned band, Projek Pistol, at 3.00pm.
For those who are intrigued by Judo will have the opportunity to get interactive with Oon Yeoh, a former National Judo Champion, who represented Malaysia in 1993 and 1995 World Judo Championships in Canada and Japan respectively.
