The Lotus flower symbolises purity, beauty, majesty, grace, knowledge and serenity. Hinduism uses the flower as a symbol of peace and eternity whereas Buddhism uses the Lotus flower as a representation of mysticism, self-awareness and faithfulness during spiritual development. The Lotus is a delicate flower with many layered petals arrayed around its core. In general, Lotus flowers exude beauty and grace. Set against the background of a murky pond, the Lotus always looks so clean and pure. In the Victorian flower language, the Lotus represents eloquence.
In the formulation of the Lotus Micro Cleansing range, Mamonde uses the Lotus as a whole: from the flower to its roots. Its petals possess brightening and wrinkle correction properties; its roots provide the skin with nourishing and firming benefits and its seeds contribute to the fortification of the skin barrier and moisturization. The seeds also contain anti-oxidants properties. Inspired by the Lotus flower’s ability to stay clean and fresh even in muddy waters, Mamonde developed an innovative technology – Lotus Anti-PM Complex™ to create the Ultra Fine Polymers that are like the surface of Lotus flowers.
Lotus Anti-PM Complex™
The complex contains three Lotus flower substances and cationpolymers that attracts micro dust with the principle of magnetism to remove dirt and dust while ensuring a mild texture and brightening effect.
How it works:
- The cationpolymers work as a magnet to attract the micro dust with negative electric charge.
- The Lotus flower extracts and the micro-sized kaolin reduce the irritation of soap with a mild texture and brightening effect.
- The Lotus root powder in between the surfactant layers makes smaller and firmer pores In addition to powerful cleansing.
