Mamonde, the South Korean beauty brand under Amorepacific Malaysia, has expanded its business operations to the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia with the opening of its new counter at Aeon Queensbay Mall.
This is Mamonde’s 5th beauty counter since its official launch in July last year. The brand hopes that Mamonde will be well-received by Penangnites and the neighbouring districts of Penang. According to Celine Diong, Brand General Manager of Mamonde Malaysia, there have been requests by Mamonde fans in the northern region to make Mamonde products more accessible to them. This has spurred them on a opening of a counter here. “Depending on the response of our first counter here in the northern region and should the response be good, we will even consider setting up more counters to cater for the demand of Mamonde products here,” said Diong.
“The brand sees the opportunity to grow its business here in the northern region because of the growing population of young adults aged between 17 and 35 years with Penang being one of the main education hubs in Malaysia with influx of local and foreign students,” added Diong. As part of the brand’s effort to increase awareness among its target group, Mamonde will be conducting beauty campaigns and also skincare and makeup education for college students.
Similar to the other Mamonde counters, this new counter also offers both complimentary Flower Touch hand massage with seven different types of hand creams to choose from as well as complimentary skin consultation. This counter also features a Flower Experience Corner to enable its customers to experience and learn about Mamonde’s flower science. This area also doubles up as a floral aromatherapy area where customers get to relax the mind with its calming and soothing scents.
In conjunction with Mamonde Malaysia’s new counter opening, the brand is offering Gifts with Purchase, Early Bird Special, Complimentary Mamonde Flower Kit for Mamonde FB fans and Beauty Buy starting from RM49. The promotion will be ongoing till 14th May 2017.
Mamonde is the first skincare brand of its kind that uses only flowers as its key ingredient coupled with other natural ingredients in its formulation.
