Single Wife : A double life of an intrepid woman begins!

Single Wife, is a 12-episode romance comedy starring Uhm Hyun-kyung, Sung Hyuk, and Kwak Hee-sung. The story is about a woman who’s juggling between 2 lives – one where she’s a top-class furniture designer engaged to the head of the company, and another where she’s a modest country woman forced to take care of her amnesiac ex-husband.

This light romantic summer comedy stars Uhm Hyun-kyung (“Defendant”) as Lee Ra-hee, a successful furniture designer preparing for her remarriage to the perfect man, Jae-min (a second-generation chaebol played by “Hyde, Jekyll, Me”’s Kwak Hee-sung), but amidst those proceedings, she realizes that her divorce from her ex-husband, Min-hong (Sung Hyuk, “Come! Jang Bo-ri”) was never legally finalized.

It’s revealed that Min-Hong failed to deliver the legal papers when he was involved in an accident 3 years ago, leaving him and Ra-hee legally married. The accident also leaves him with amnesia and he completely forgets about the divorce, having been lied to by his friends that Ra-hee had left for the US instead. Meanwhile, Ra-hee continues with her life believing she’s divorced from her ex-husband, becoming a renowned furniture designer at the biggest furniture company in Korea and dating the head of the company, Jae-min in the process.

On the day Jae-min proposes to her, Ra-hee finds out that she was still legally married to Min-hong! She’s forced to approach a shocked Min-hong for a divorce again only to learn about his amnesia. Unable to leave him alone, Ra-hee decides to keep both lives; a successful furniture designer during the week, and a modest housewife who takes care of her amnestic husband during the weekend, all to get a divorce from her husband and a wedding ring from her boyfriend!

AOA’s Yuna is also casted as Kwak Hee-sung’s sister in the show.
