Pavilion KL was quite packed with fans on November 15 as they wanted to catch a glimpse of renowned Korean actress Ha Ji Won, who was in Malaysia to greet her fans. The beauty was here accompanied by Hong Kong filmmaker John Woo to promote their latest movie, Manhunt.
Popular through the drama Secret Garden, Empress Ki and her latest K-drama, Hospital Ship, Ha Ji Won said she was excited to be back in Malaysia for the second time. She was here 10 years ago to promote her film Phone, and this time she is back again to promote her latest action movie, Manhunt.
“Malaysians are nice. Food was great. Fans were especially passionate. I couldn’t wait to come back to Malaysia,” said the cheery actress at the press conference.
Manhunt is an adaptation of the Japanese novel Kimi yo Fundo no Kawa o Watare by Juko Nishimura which had previously been adapted into a Japanese film starring Takakura. Ha Ji Won plays the female assassin character called Rain in the movie.
Manhunt starts showing in local cinemas nationwide on Nov 23, a day ahead of China.
