The 16th Annual Unforgettable Gala

This past Saturday, stars like Daniel Dae KimMaggie QKarrueche TranLisa LingLeonardo NamJeannie Mai, Ross Butler, Awkwafina, and more gathered at Kore Asian Media’s 16th Annual Unforgettable Gala in Beverly Hills to celebrate Asian Pacific Americans and their achievements in the entertainment industry.

Hosted by Jeannie Mai (FOX’s The Real Co-Host), The 16th Annual Unforgettable Gala held on Saturday, December 9 at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA. As the longest-running event of its kind, the Unforgettable Gala celebrates Asian American trailblazers and their achievements in the entertainment industry. It is hosted by Kore Asian Media and presented by BMW of North America. The black-tie affair honors both established and up-and-coming talents in film, television, music and the digital platform.

The Honorees for the night:

BMW’s Ultimate Drive: Daniel Dae Kim (ABC’s The Good Doctor) and Grace Park (CBS’ Hawaii Five-0)

Actor of the Year: Leonardo Nam (HBO’s Westworld)

Actress of the Year: Maggie Q (ABC’s Designated Survivor)

Female BreakoutAwkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians)

Male Breakout: Ross Butler (Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why)

Vanguard Award: Justin Chon (Gook)

Philanthropy Award: Dr. Mike Hong (M&L Hong Foundation)

Athlete of the Year: Chloe Kim (Snowboarder, three-time X Games gold medalist)

Entertainment Mogul: Ted Chung (Cashmere Agency, Stampede Management)

Presentors of the awards were:
