One Night Food Trip – International Edition 2 Concludes Shooting in Taiwan and will Move to 3rd Stop Malaysia
tvN Asia’s travel and food original production One Night Food Trip – International Edition season 2 commences shooting. A spin-off of the popular CJ E&M format of the same name, One Night Food Trip – International Edition adds local Asian celebrities to create relevance to its target audience. This season, the 16-episode travel show brings audience to the Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Korea. tvN Asia’s original production One Night Food Trip – International Edition 2 Philippine segment will premiere exclusively on tvN in Asia on 30 July (Monday) at 18:30 (GMT+8).
Earlier production team wrapped up shooting at the second destination, foodieland Taiwan. Korean model and global influencer Irene Kim, who pairs up with Taiwan local celebrity Gabriel Lan going from Hualien to Taitung. They are able to experience some of the most authentic Taiwanese breakfast foods, including egg pancakes, Taiwanese macarons Xiao Xi Dian; and go on a cultural escapade visiting a resort/restaurant where you can eat and live like a true Taiwanese. As the team concludes their trip, they hop on a hot air balloon to oversee the colourful skyline of Taitung.
Opposing to Irene and Gabriel are internationally renowned K-pop singer, Se7en and Taiwan actress and model, Christina Mok. The team starts off with a famous city in the South, Kaohsiung and go all the way to Tainan, where they face some interesting missions, such as eating shaved ice that serves 6 people, drinking beef soup in a lively morning, as well as visiting a traditional Taiwanese market that has everything!
The third stop of the show will go to the diverse Malaysia where competitors in last season, Jung Joon-young and Jo Se-ho face off each other once again. Shooting will commence in mid-July. Want to find out who bring home the Golden Passport? Stay tuned to find out!
