tvN To Air Fans Favourite NA PD Series Grandpas Over Flowers Return

One of tvN’s all-time favourites, “Grandpas Over Flowers” finally makes its return after three years. Presented by star producing director Na Young-Seok (Na PD), Grandpas Over Flowers Returns will premiere on tvN in Asia on 7 July (Saturday) at 21:00 (GMT +8). In this season, four veteran senior actors – Lee Soon-jae, Shin Gu, Park Geun-hyung, Baek Il-seob, along with the newly joined member Kim Yong-gun will go on a backpacking tour in East Europe with actor Lee Seo-jin as their tour guide.

The energetic “Grandpa crew”, aged 78.8 years old in average, sets off to Berlin in this season. Mr. Knowledge Lee Soon-jae, Mr. Lovely Shin Gu, Mr. Romantic Park Geun-hyung and the previous “Maknae” (youngest member of a crew) Paek Il-seob, continue on their chemistry from previous seasons, and will bring in more comedic interactions this time.

 

Being “Grandpas’ official bellboy”, Lee Seo-jin has shown his expertise in leading the trip and taking good care of the grandpas in the previous seasons. In the first episode, Na PD has surprised Lee Seo-jin by telling him there will be a new cast member coming to assist him. By putting the new member in disguise, Lee Seo-jin kept on dreaming about having actress Han Ji-min on board. When revealed that it is senior actor Kim Young-Gun to join the squad, the unexpected reaction of Lee Seo-jin made everyone burst into laughter.

 

The new member Kim Young-gun is the father of award-winning actor Ha Jung-woo, he becomes the new Maknae among the five elderly members despite being 73 years old. His new addition to the team definitely brings a great impact on the crew. He is brimming with energy and makes everyone laughing at his humor and enthusiasm. The cast members bond even stronger with this refreshing new combination.
