DreamNote is a young with unlimited charms KPOP girl group which consists of different talented girls formed and debuted in November 2018. They have each captured many with their fresh and bubbly look since debut. The group name comes with a meaning of “always sharing their dreams with fans”.
They debuted with their first single “DreamNote” under the album “Dreamlike” expressing how the girls stepped into a new world, having the same dream to debut and perform on the same stage together. The music video is filled with colourful and fun settings to match with the song which is an upbeat retro track that incorporates with some interesting instrumental touches to give off a hyper cutesy image.
It was just this year’s March, DreamNote came back with their second album “Dream:us” that featured the title song “Hakuna Matata”. This time round, the song has even up the standard in terms of vocal and choreography making it an even better upgraded version of the previous track. “Hakuna Matata” also became a hit in South America when they carried out a global cover dance challenge <DreamNote Challenge> through a global KPOP video community. Thousands of cover videos were produced and uploaded throughout 56 countries, mostly from Brazil and Chile. The <Hakuna Matata> video guide exhibited the bubbliness of the girls earning them the nickname DreamNote Teengle (Teen + Beagle-like-Beauty). [It is fair to say this campaign has successfully brought the DreamNote fever to South America KPOP fans.
