It's more like she's doing it for her own interest...I mean the more she coaches, the higher chances that one of her girls will win (since he is a good coach). But then she could have been hired..or she wants to do good by promoting the awareness of Asian female beauty and shed the stereotypes. According to a Japanese documentary about her, she stated that she wants Japanese women to accept their innner natural beauty and learn to be comfortable with expressing confidence. Stronger Asian women..that's a good thing. If she is trying to state that an Asian woman doesn't have to westernize her looks to be considered beautiful, then I guess she's a positive influence.
