Hwanhee promotes H Soul in Japan

Published on April 29, 2010 by in Music

Tweet Hwanhee, formerly of Fly To The Sky (FTTS), was in Tokyo on April 27 for a fan meeting. The talent said that he wants to compete in the Japanese market. Watch out: ‘Here I come, Japan!’ His fan meeting named H SOUL Hajimari marks the 28 year old’s eagerness to cross over to the Japanese market. H SOUL is the title of the South Korean singer’s first solo album. It’s good to see the talent out and about again. At the end of 2009, Hwanhee had to quickly end promotional activities for his single Bring It Back because of health problems. Now that he’s healthy again, let’s hope we get to hear more of him . Is Hwanhee on Twitter?

Fly to the Sky releases Decennium, calls it quits

Published on March 16, 2009 by in Buzz, Music

Tweet Hwanhee (left) and Brian have decide to part ways Awesome duo, Fly to the Sky released their 8th album entitled Decennium (i guess it alludes to the duo being together for 10 years!) last month. Brian and Hwanhee are now busy promoting their newly launched album and have been appearing on many Korean programs (television & radio), namely Lee Hana’s Peppermint (6 March), Music Core, Love Request, Yashimmanman (9 March) and of course Mnet Countdown. Brian (left) and Hwanhee on Yashimmanman Hwanhee mentioned on Lee Hana’s Peppermint that this will be their last album as Fly to the Sky. Brian will be moving on to an acting career, while Hwanhee will focus on his solo singing career (I actually thought it would be the other way around since Hwanhee has been appearing in dramas). This sounds like an official split for FTTS. I was quite sad to hear this because i really really like this R&B duo. Brian’s crisp clear vocals compliments Hwanhee’s deep husky voice perfectly. Where else can you find such a match! It’s such a joy listening to them that i am sad it has come to an end. When i mentioned this to Liz (who’s

Hwanhee surprises Hwayobi on Valentine’s Day

Tweet Duet: Serenading each other with Endless Love They were “man and wife” on the TV show We Got Married. Now that that’s over, it doesn’t mean they’ve quit doing nice things for each other…especially on Valentine’s Day. Hwanhee, one-half of R&B duo Fly to the Sky ditched his own comeback performance halfway (getting his partner Brian Joo to hold down the fort for him) and popped into Hwayobi’s concert for a surprise duet of Endless Love. Flowers: ‘Here, these flowers are for you.’ Whoopsie: ‘Seriously Hwanhee, I thought you knew I likedred roses, not these whatchamacallit.’ Smiling thru the pain: Hwanhee stands and takes it as Hwayobigives him a shelling for getting the wrong flowers Whack: Knowing she can’t stay mad for long at that surgically-enhancedgorgeous mug, Hwayobi playfully smacks her “ex-hubby”(Oooh, let me at him! ) The “Dog Poop” (Gaettongi) couple serenaded each other with the saccharine sweet love song to the excitement of all Hwanyobi fans. Awww, aren’t they cute together?
