Kim Su-ro on Crunchyroll
MBC’s sageuk drama Kim Su-ro is the newest Korean drama at Crunchyroll, a popular online platform that streams Asian entertainment content.
Kim Su-ro is set in the recently-discovered Gaya Dynasty. It was hidden within the pages of history until the 1970s when many historical relics from the Gaya Dynasty was discovered. Legend has it that about 1/3 of Koreans are descendants of Gaya. The drama stars Jisung, Bae Jong-ok and Seo Ji-hye.
All-access members of Crunchyroll will be able to watch the series in hi-def and without any adverts! Free users will be able to watch the first four episodes now while the next four episodes will be released over the next four weeks. More information is at the Crunchyroll website.

What’s a “sageuk”?
A “saguek” is a “period drama”. Also known as a historical drama. For Korean dramas, it is usually set in the Joseon dynasty.
