2AM Showcase in Malaysia on 21 May 2011

Popular Korean boy band 2AM will be performing in Malaysia at a DiGi Live K-pop Showcase 21 May 2011 at 6pm. Catch the boys performing live in Malaysia at Wisma MCA, Jalan Ampang.

This is the result of a challenge DiGi Youths posted on Facebook.

Moharmustaqeem Mohammed, Head of Segment Marketing said, “We were pleasantly surprised to discover how responsive K-pop fans are in Malaysia. We issued a challenge to our DiGi Youths fans that if they help us reach the target of 147,000 fans for our Facebook account, we will arrange for 2AM to perform in the country. Within four days, we reached that target!

“The enthusiastic online support clearly indicates that there is still a very strong interest for hot Korean acts. Collecting feedback from our DiGi Youths fans on how they wish to interact with 2AM is just our way to engage them on a proactive basis in efforts to further raise the bar on DiGi’s music offerings to our customers. Rest assured, there will be more unique experiences from us in the future.”
