Korea Fair at MMU

Multimedia University’s Korean Language Society is organizing a 2-day
Korea Fair so that you can experience Korean culture as well as get answers
to all your burning questions on studying in South Korea.

 

Why go?

Want to experience how it’s like to study in South Korea? Visit the Korea Fair at Multimedia University (MMU) to get information on internship programs of participating universities in South Korea. There will also be talks on student exchange programs to South Korea which will be held at the Multipurpose Hall.

Experience Korean culture first hand at the fair by trying on the hanbok – Korean traditional dress / outfits (also available for men). You will also get to bring home a keepsake of yourself in the Korean traditional costume as there will be a photobooth nearby where you can snap a pic or two.

There are also special booths for kpop fans!

The Korean Fair will be divided into four main parts which are:

1) K-food – Cooking workshop and Lotte Mart

2) K-pop – K-Pop Fans club to exhibit their collection and merchandise

3) K-exchange programme – Annual MMU student exchange programme to Korea. More information about the programme during the fair

4) K-culture- Traditional Korean clothes testing, Korean cultural booth

There will also be performances from 1pm to 3pm on both days. The performances include singing, dance and taekwondo demonstration. There will also be cooking class for you Korean Food enthusiasts.

Date: 4 and 5 January 2012 (Wednesday and Thursday)

Time: 9.30am – 5.00pm
