Big Bang puts past behind & makes a powerful comeback for "Alive"

After a difficult year, Big Bang members put their past behind them and prepares for a powerful comeback for their 5th mini album “Alive”

Members of Big Bang appeared on SBS’s “Healing Camp” on February 20th to address certain pertinent issues that have crossed their fans’ minds before their explosive comeback.

During the show, Kwon Ji Yong (or better known as G-Dragon) came clean with his marijuana scandal stating that he really wasn’t aware of his wrong-doing. He mentioned that he felt it would be wrong to reject the “cigarette” offer since he was the host at the party and was really drunk when he accepted it.

When asked how he did not notice the difference between marijuana and tobacco, he replied,

I was really drunk, and I think I believed it to be a really dark cigarette or cigar. I have never been exposed to marijuana so I don’t even know what it smells like. It wasn’t just impossible to tell the difference, and I’m a smoker, but it looked exactly like the cigarettes I smoke.”

Seung Ri added that he was pretty disappointed with his ‘hyung’ but seeing him so sad also made him feel devastated.

“I should have been more careful as a celebrity, but it was all my fault,” adds GD.

G-Dragon also announced how he has been meeting people (been in relationships) and evoked some curiosity by saying that he would do so in secret to avoid harming the other party. When asked if this means that the other party is also someone in the industry, he cleverly avoided much controversy or havoc by saying, “that’s something only I (will) know”.

Meanwhile, the other member hit by a scandal, DaeSung confessed to having suicidal thoughts after the car accident incident.

“I never thought I would get hurt by netizen comments, but it was impossible not to after reading some of the comment. The worse one was calling me a ‘murderer.’ I realized how scary and brutal that word could be,”  said Daesung.

Fortunately, with the love and support from his family members as well as the encouragement from the victim’s family, he was able to pick himself up and get back on track.

In the mean time, all five members of Big Bang have been confirmed to appear on Running Man to promote for their comeback on February 29th with their 5th mini-album, “Alive”.

Their comeback single, “Blue,” was released today (February 22) and will be the first out of their reported six title tracks!
