Lee Min Ho fans, fancy seeing your favourite actor in a sageuk drama? Well, you only have to wait till August 13 for the premiere of SBS’s Faith in South Korea, which the heartthrob stars in!
Last seen in City Hunter, the actor is best known for his role as the rich and smug Gu Jun Pyo in the hit drama Boys Over Flowers. Who could forget Gu Jun Pyo?
Faith recently released its first teaser trailer, giving fans a first look into the fantasy action melodrama about a romance between a Goryeo Dynasty warrior Choi Young (Lee Min Ho) and modern-day plastic surgeon Yoon Eun Soo (Kim Hee Sun).
The short yet action-packed teaser brings us back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty and gives viewers a look at Lee Min Ho and the other characters Hwa Soo In (Shin Eun Jung) and Jang Bin (Lee Philip!) in period costume. We’re also given a look at Lee Min Ho’s hinted supernatural powers.

During the ceremony where the cast and crew prayed for the success of the drama, Lee Min Ho shouted, “I’ll do my best to create a drama series that touches the viewers.”
His co-star Kim Hee Sun added, “I’m so happy to be working with such a great cast and crew, and I’m filming with a grateful heart. I hope we can shoot all episodes without any troubles.”
Faith will be replacing The Chaser’s time slot on SBS.
Malaysian Lee Min Ho fans will have another cause to rejoice as ONEHD on Astro B.yond Channel 393 airs SBS’s dramas with Bahasa Malaysia subtitles.
