2NE1 Cancels Concert in Malaysia

Yes, this is official news, dear BLACKJACKs. 2NE1 has cancelled their New Evolution Global Tour concert in Malaysia and Indonesia. The band announced the sad news at their official Facebook page today.

ANOTHER DAY: The 2NE1 ladies will be skipping Malaysia this year

Below is the full message:

Dear BLACKJACK in Malaysia & Indonesia,

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we regret to announce that the 2NE1 shows originally scheduled for Malaysia & Indonesia had to be cancelled. We sincerely apologize to all our fans in Malaysia & Indonesia and hope that we will be able to play there in the near future. The remaining shows on the tour have not been affected and we thank each and every one of you for your amazing love & support.

Yup, I guess there will be many Lonely BLACKJACKs come Dec 8. Nonetheless, let’s hope we get to see The Best girls in the near future.

On another similar note, the K-pop Storm Live in Malaysia 2012, which boasted 9 k-pop acts, was also cancelled (Nov 6) due to the lackluster response from the Malaysian public.
