LUNAFLY Showcase in Malaysia on March 30

LUNAFLY gave their fans in Malaysia an evening to remember. It was a night of beautiful music when the guys performed to 200 fans at their showcase held at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus on March 30.

While it was great bagging an exclusive interview with the trio in February this year, the icing on the cake was when we finally had the chance to watch them live on stage!

Talented trio, LUNAFLY

LUNAFLY entertained with 18 songs during the cozy evening in March. They sang various covers as well as two new tracks from their upcoming album.

The talented guys appeared to the crowd at around 8.30pm after our very own Youtube Artist, Enessa, opened the showcase with Hatiku and Lonely (2NE1).

Looking extremely dashing in black and white, the trio performed Clear Day Cloudy Day, Baby, I’m Yours (Yun’s solo), Impossible (Teo’s solo) and California King Bed (Sam’s solo).

Enessa appeared once again for a duet with LUNAFLY. They sang Justin Bieber’ As Long As You Love Me.

The guys then surprised the crowd with their good Malay pronunciation while singing Cantik, a popular song from Indonesian artist Kahitna.

Sam, the leader

After a quick change in outfits, LUNAFLY continued their performance with One More Step, This Love, Seeing You or Missing You and Troublemaker.

To make the evening extra special, the guys — while decked out in pink(!) — performed 2 unreleased tracks from their upcoming album, namely Innocent & Young and Fly To Love. They ended the 2nd part of the showcase with  Bruno Mars’ Locked Out Of Heaven and Train’s 50 Ways To Say Goodbye.

While Lukies (LUNAFLY diehards) chanted for an encore, the guys appeared again and surprised the crowd with another Malay song entitled Bila Terasa Rindu. It was originally sung by our own Malaysian artist Dafi.

The trio then stepped off the stage and moved closer to the fans while singing a One Direction medley: One Thing, What Makes You Beautiful and Live While We’re Young.

Yun

LUNAFLY showcased their skills when they performed while playing various musical instruments. Lukies were definitely ecstatic with the performance.

After the showcase, there was a Q&A session and a Meet & Greet. The 3-hour showcase, which was organized by ME Malaysia and presented by Chargers Outfitters, was clearly a success. We hope to see LUNAFLY in Malaysia again soon!
