Imagine Your Korea at the K-Festival 2014!
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur was the place to be on August 8 – 10. The K-Festival 2014 was held with a variety of events that attracted visitors old and young to the mall’s Centre Court area.
Held for 3 days, the festival includes exhibitions on K-Beauty, K-Tech, K-Food, K-Culture, K-Tour, K-Pop and K-Performance. Local entertainer, Baki Zainal was also inaugurated as the Kaki Korea ambassador due to his influences in the K-Pop events in Malaysia. Korea Tourism Organisation also officially launch the new tagline “Imagine Your Korea“.
Visitors who attended the 3 day event were entertained with multiple entertaining performances. Twin sisters of the group Kayarang attracted visitors with a beautiful rendition of Negaraku (Malaysia national anthem) using the traditional Korean instrument Gayageum.
The Painters Hero also managed to gain attention with their comic antics of painting while dancing to hit songs and making people laugh. The viewers can’t stop laughing looking at their performance.
For the fashion enthusiasts, they were also presented with a Korean Royal Hanbok fashion show. Beautiful and colorful dresses of the royal were put on show along with performances by the models.
Those who came with an empty stomach was also delighted with Korean food samples such as the Gimbap (famous Korean roll) and Ddokbokki (Korean spicy rice cake), among others.
The highlight for the festival was of course the special performance by K-Idol MBLAQ and K-Comedian HaHa, who made the fans scream hysterically. The 3 day event ended successfully.
