Gary of the Running Man made an appearance at the Kuala Lumpur MATTA Fair on September 5 at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC). His appearance during the Korea Tourism Organisation Malaysia (KTO)’s Korea Hour 2015 turned the crowd crazy for a glimpse of the man of the hour.
The Korea Hour 2015 which runs from 4-6 pm includes performances by The Painters Hero, a Hanbok Fashion Show featuring Malaysian super model Amber Chia, and Gary’s appearance. The event was hosted by the Kaki Korea ambassador, Baki Zainal who captured peoples heart with his antics.
The Painters Hero, a group of 4 men bedazzled the spectators with their beautiful painting. Looks easy, but the end result was simply amazing. Their performances include dancing, sketches, and even engaged the audience to be involved in one of the segments.
What is a Korean event without the Hanbok fashion show right? This year’s Hanbok fashion show is a little bit special as KTO announced their new K-Beauty ambassador, which is none other than the beautiful Amber Chia. Amber Chia took the stage and cat-walked in the different designs of Hanbok, created for different occasions. A cute little girl who shared the stage with Amber also caught attention of the audience.
The moment the fashion show is over, the crowd screamed for Kang Hee Gun or better known as Gary, from the hip hop duo LeesSang and the famous variety show Running Man. When asked about suggestions on places to visit in Korea, Gary strongly suggests a trip to Jeju Island, and in conjunction with Korea hosting Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in 2018, visitors can try going down the ski slopes during winter. A winner from the KTO A Moment with Gary were given a ski top by Gary himself and a photo opportunity.
