It’s been awhile since ONE HD aired sageuk dramas, so K-drama enthusiasts like myself will rejoice with the airing of ‘Six Flying Dragons‘, starring Yoo Ah In and Shin Se Kyung in the Ppali-Ppali timeslot!
The central character is technically Yoo Ah-in’s Lee Bang-won, the future King Taejong. It’s an epic sageuk about how a five-century dynasty is founded. King Taejong clashes ideologically and politically with Jung Do-jeon (Kim Myung-min), the man instrumental in helping his father establish the Joseon nation, and the drama follows the conflict as they attempt to consolidate their power and the state of the fledgling nation.
