K’Storm Dance Cover Competition Grand Final Showdown A Great Success!
Proudly brought to you by Magnum, “K’Storm Vol.1 Kpop Dance Cover Competition” provides KPOP dance lovers the opportunity to showcase their talent and passion towards KPOP! The Grand Final took place on 19th December 2015 (Saturday), 7.30pm, at Mega Star Arena.
Throughout the journey, the contestants have shown their best imitation performance, amazing choreography with their customized costumes, but only one group was crowned as the Champion for ‘K’Storm Vol.1 Kpop Dance Cover Competition’—MAD.G!
The 15 Grand Finalists, PhoeniQue, X’theus and VARIANCE from Selangor; ODD Fit Fit, D-Strict 12 and Sensation from Johor; Mad.G, DREAMy’s and Babylicious from Penang; Project All Starz, S.I.M Crew and Insane First from Malacca; Double F, DONNA’s and Rebellion from Kuala Lumpur. 5 groups were given a wild card and they were handpicked by the judges to battle out with the 15 grand finalists. The 5 groups that were given the wild card were VOIZ, Heroine-V, D’Soul, Chromation and HIM!
The opening event started with an incredible TRON dance which made the audience go wild! The audience were cheering and dancing with the famous KPOP song, PSY’s Gentleman. The competition then started with an introduction of the grand finalist and the judge’s showcase. The grand finalist performance was unbelievable! From a competition, it had grown into an actual Kpop concert! After an intense battle amongst the Grand Finalists, the panel of judges finally decided on the winners for K’Storm Vol. 1 Kpop Dance Cover Competition 2015. All the winners won attractive cash and prizes as below.

In getting the audience involved in the Grand Final, the organizer created a special award – “Audience Best Dress Contest”! The organizers’ intention is to encourage the audience to dress up as their favourite idols at the Grand Final. Participatory method: upload pictures to Facebook and write down “The reason you support K’Storm ia because” and hashtag ‘KStormBestDressContest’, to stand a chance to win a cash prize of RM100.
