Fan Voting for JYP x Soompi “Rising Legends” is Now Open

The search for K-Pop’s next Idol continues. Fan voting opens for Rising Legends is now open!

After receiving over 5000 entries from more than 100 countries, Soompi has narrowed down the field to 150 entries (50 each in singing, dancing, rapping) and now it is up to the fans to decide who could potentially be the next K-pop sensation.

The first round of fan voting opens on Friday, September 2 and continues until Wednesday, September 7 . Fans will be able to vote for their favorite submission here: http://www.soompi.com/legends/

Presented by Soompi and JYP Entertainment, home of legendary groups like 2PM, GOT7, TWICE, Wonder Girls, Park Jin Young, and more, fans have the chance to show off their singing, rapping, and dancing skills by uploading a video of themselves performing to a cover or an original song.

As the grand prize, JYP Entertainment will offer an in person interview and audition to the finalist of each of the three categories. Soompi’s previous Ulzzang winner E.Den ended up debuting as a member of Nega Network’s LC9.

Rising Legends will be held in three rounds. As always, the winners and finalists will be determined by audience vote, as well as judges from Buzzfeed, Billboard, Fuse, The Au Review, and Soompi.
