DEAN’s career started at sixteen when he started performing with Keith Ape, and at eighteen years old, he started writing songs for Kpop stars, with the name DEANFLUENZA, a combination of the name of his favorite actor James Dean, and the word ‘influenza’, to infect people with infectious rhythm and music. Famous tracks credited to DEAN includes EXO’s Black Pearl and VIXX’s Voodoo Doll.

DEAN made his appearance in Malaysia through a meet the press session before meeting the fans at MYFM Dare Dare Go 2.0 in Sunway Pyramid and a solo show case in Penang at Gurney Paragon Mall. Here’s a clip from his meet the press session held at Loud Speaker Karaoke in Puchong.

At the MYFM Dare Dare Go 2.0 in Sunway Pyramid, DEAN sang Half Moon (D), 21 and Put My Hands On You amidst screaming from the fans from the floor all the way till the 3rd floor. He then made an appearance at Popular bookstore for an autograph session with the fans.

Who’s up for a DEAN concert in Malaysia? Let’s all hope that it will come true!

Thanks to Universal Music Malaysia Regional for the invitation.
