2 Major K-Pop events to look out for in February 2017
Don’t be disappointed if you have missed all the year-end ceremonies and awards as two major K-pop events are just around the corner!
1. K-Drama Festa in PyeongChang
For the first time, K-Drama Festa will take place on Feb 18, 2017 in Yongpyong Dome, Pyeongchang County, to mark the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics G-1 anniversary.
Super Junior’s Lee-teuk has been named as the MC for the event and the line-up so far features popular K-pop artists including EXO-CBX, BTB, Lyn and Gummy. You can find the updates for the line-up and the event here.
It is a unique event where you will have the chance to enjoy spectacular K-pop and K-drama OST performances at a ski resort, Yongpyong Resort, which was featured in the latest Korean drama series, “The Goblin” or “The Guardian”. Internationally renowned as South Korea’s best ski resort, you may want to try skiing at this ski resort after watching the performances as well.
Also, you will be able to enjoy a variety of events including K-Drama Talk Show, K-Drama Photo World, a hanbok fashion show, which will be showcasing Korean traditional dress featured in the upcoming drama “Saimdang, Light’s Diary”, and plenty more that will get you excited.

2. The 6th Gaon Chart Music Awards
As one of the biggest K-pop music awards show, the 6th Gaon Chart Music Awards will take place on February 22, 2017 in Jamsil Indoor Stadium, Seoul. At the award, you will be able to meet the top K-pop artists of last year all in one place!
