[Travel] K-Style Hub Experience
First time and first day in Korea? Not sure where to get the info for your travel? Head over to K-Style Hub in Seoul!
K-Style Hub is not like other typical tourist information centre. Besides having all the information for tourists, K-Style Hub also offers a Hallyu experience, a chance to learn about Korean culture and food, participating in traditional experiences, exhibitions, medical tourism and more.
Boasting of five floors, they were so many activities for us to enjoy, until we realized few hours passed by so quickly. Upon arrival we were greeted by Song Joong Ki and Lee Minho………standees!:p
You can see them everywhere in this building. Both of them are the ambassador of Korea Tourism for 2016 and 2015 respectively. Let’s take a peek to see what’s more inside this building.
The interactive 360 degrees Panorama Gallery displays promotional films and images of 40 major Korean tourist destinations taken by drone on a high-resolution display technology.
K-Star Zone is probably our most favourite corner here. The exhibition hall digitalized where you can found various digital contents and virtual experiences with popular K-stars such as BIGBANG, 2NE1, Rainbow, Psy and more.
The CAFE where you can enjoy drinks and snacks!
The Medical Tourism Information Center is also equipped with many medical equipments to check your body health, stress level, skin analysis and even provides one-on-one consultations services. The visitors can also try various herbal teas available.
The 3rd floor is the Korean culinary culture exhibition hall. Inspired by hanok (Korean traditional house), various traditional Korean food ingredients are displayed here.
Also, various Korean traditional food storage was display here. We heard that earthen pots was used to ferment food in order to enhance their flavors and aromas of foods.
On the top floor, the Art Market Hall displays soban (meal table), agricultural products and cultural crafts and also venture company products.
We also got the chance to try on hanbok (Korean traditional clothes) at the 5th floor!
The BEST part of all, K-Style Hub provides prayer room for Muslim tourists. Such a gentle consideration deserves a big applause!
