BIGBANG’s Seungri to make special appearance on YG Republique KL Grand Opening

Get ready to dine and revel in true blue Korean style at TREC KL from Aug 12, as YG Republique makes its opening debut in Malaysia in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur with two of its famous F&B brands – 3Geori Butcher’s and K Pub, which is Malaysia’s bonafide and first fully-themed K-Pop bar.

YG Republique KL is located at Hive block at TREC KL – Malaysia’s largest entertainment and F&B enclave on Jalan Tun Razak. YG Republique KL’s opening on Aug 11 will be accompanied by the exclusive artistes appearance. Among them is BigBang‘s member Seungri. More names and a full programme will be announced closer to the opening on Aug 11.

YG Republique KL is a partnership between YG Foods [Korea] and KL-based Korean restopreneur Sainy Chun, and prominent Malaysian businessman Dato’ Douglas Cheng who is one of the two founders of TREC KL.

YG Foods is led by Ms. Noh Hee Young – a well known food consultant, celebrity and lifestyle guru, in her own right. The charismatic entrepreneur has been at the helm of YG Foods venues in Korea, overseeing the food quality to lifestyle and entertainment aspects.

With three outlets in South Korea, the ever so popular 3Geori Butcher’s pork barbecue restaurant is located in Hongdae district. The brand also opened its first branch in Bangkok’s Show DC mall, as it continues to expand its global footprint.

Occupying two units at Hive, this integrated venue will see 3Geori Butcher’s and K Pub bring everyone’s favourite Seoul bar & eatery experience with its trendy and vibrant spirit.

Staying true to its flagship in Korea, YG’s Korean chef Ji Byung Kwon of its famous venue in Hongdae lends his culinary expertise, leading the kitchen at YG Republique in KL for six months.
