MTV Announced Nominations for the 2017 MTV EMAs!
London calling—all the hottest artists to the global music celebration of the year, that is! MTV announced nominations for the 2017 MTV EMAs, with pop superstar Taylor Swift leading the pack. Swift nabbed six nods including Best Video for her record-breaking “Look What You Made Me Do” which debuted at the MTV VMAs in August, while global sensation Shawn Mendes nearly ties Swift with five nominations, including Best Song and Best Artist—the latter category featuring the two nominees going head-to-head.
GOT7 won Best Korea Act award last year, while Highlight, Mamamoo, Wanna One, Seventeen and G-Friend are the nominees for this year category.
The 2017 MTV EMAs will broadcast around the globe from The SSE Arena, Wembley in London on Sunday, November 12 and will air live on MTV Asia on Monday, 13 November: Red Carpet (2am WIB, 3am MY/SG) and Main Show (3am WIB, 4am MY/SG). The repeat telecast airs on the same day: Red Carpet (6pm WIB, 7pm MY/SG) and Main Show (7pm WIB, 8pm MY/SG).
