Samsung Celebrates a Pink Christmas with its new Pink Galaxy Note8, S8 and S8+
Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice!
Pretty desserts amidst Samsung’s Pink Edition Galaxy Note8, S8 & S8+

Sweetness rules the dessert menu, but the occasional touch of spices adds distinction to the flavour – making it an excellent vehicle to thrill and excite the palate. Just like the sweet and savoury experience desserts bring to people, Samsung is refreshing its colour offering of its flagship smartphones to give fans a touch of fun with two news shades of PINK.
Held at the brand’s Galaxy Studio, a one-stop centre to experience Samsung’s ultimate mobile connectivity, and in conjunction with the upcoming Christmas celebrations, Samsung Malaysia Electronics hosted a “Sweet Treats Workshop” consisting of a creative dessert decoration class led by Frances Voon, founder of quaint cake café, Little Collins. What followed was a mini photography session of the delectable delights using Samsung’s pink edition phones, the Galaxy Note8 in Soft Pink and Galaxy S8/S8+ in Rose Pink. Captured using the powerful lenses of Samsung’s most advanced smartphones, the sweet masterpieces looked as good as it taste!
“We recently launched the Galaxy Note8 Soft Pink, together with Galaxy S8 and S8+ Rose Pink in Malaysia to give fans, especially the ladies, a choice of colours to complement their lifestyles. Pink is a reflection of the cheerful, ambitious and passionate woman who dreams big and aspires to achieve more through her smartphone. As Christmas is around the corner, the “Sweet Treats Workshop” is a perfect way to celebrate the arrival of our new pink devices as it gives us a chance to interact with our fans and our fans an opportunity to have a feel of the devices while having some pink fun!” said Mr KM Liew, Head of IT & Mobile Business, Samsung Malaysia Electronics.
Host, blogger and fashion influencer Alexis SueAnn who was the event emcee shared that her Galaxy Note8 provides her the flexibility and multitasking convenience often demanded in her line of work.

“As the entertainment and fashion industry today is strongly influenced by social media, I would have to say that the Note8’s camera is a really cool tool for me! Thanks to the dual camera’s Live Focus and Pro Mode features, I am able to create artistic and Instagram-worthy shots of both wide-angle and close up photos. I am also able to instantly adjust the ‘bokeh’ effect to make it look as if the photos were taken from a DSLR camera. Live Message with the S Pen is also super fun! I can draw my own emojis, make animated GIFs or handwrite heartfelt messages on photos; it makes every one of my messages more personal,” said Alexis.
