[Upcoming] K-pop / K-drama Events in March

As the Pyeongchang Olympics and Paralympics are to be held soon in February and March 2018, several promotional events with K-pop and K-drama stars will take place as well. Below is the ticket & tour information about two separate events among the K-pop / K-drama events in Gangneung, one of the two host cities for Pyongchang2018. If you’re a K-pop / K-drama fan visiting Korea during the winter games, check out this info!

1. Watch K-pop Concert & Paralympic Game / Free Time at Anmok Beach

This K-pop concert tour combined with visits to the Olympic venues will take you to the charming coastal city of Gangneung. You can watch a Para ice hockey game or have a free time at Anmok Beach where the famous Gangneung Coffee Street is located. Then, you’ll end your day watching performances of hot K-pop idols.

2. Visit Gangneung, the filming location of  ‘Goblin’ with Lee Dong-wook

Another tour event with K-drama star Lee Dong-wook is planned on March 13 to promote the Paralympic Games in mid-March in Gangneung.


The tour will take you to Gangneung’s famous Coffee Street and Jumunjin Breakwater in Youngjin Beach where Gong Yoo met Kim Go-eun for the first time and handed over a handful of buckwheat flowers in the K-drama ‘Goblin’. Then, you’ll attend a talk show hosted by Lee Dong-wook and watch a Para ice hockey game with him! While the day tour ends here and you’ll return to Seoul, if you choose the 2D1N option, you’ll spend a night at Yongpyong Ski Resort and enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snow sledding or free time at the ski resort the next day.
