[RECAP] KCON 2018 NY DAY 2 CONCERT

To slowly start the night away, Dance Cover Group “Haru” who won first place during their KCON Dance Battle Stage got the chance to dance on the main KCON NY stage inside Prudential Center. They performed two songs from Red Velvet showing both Red & Velvet sides like how the K-pop girl group does themselves before exiting the stage to officially start the night for Concert Day 2.

Golden Child, started the night with their recent single “It’s U” from their newest single “”, they also performed “All Day”, “Crush”, and their most requested song by fans “DamDaDi”.

The next stage was a darkness performance: special stage which L.E. from EXID came out to show her charisma and fierceness by performing “Velvet” and  NCT 127 Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun also came to do their song “Whiplash” which showcased their addictive beat and chorus to the fans.

Fromis_9, formed by CJ E&M from reality show “Idol School” the 9 girls came out next to perform. From their cute pigtails, and school girl outfits you can tell the next songs were going to be just as adorable. “DKDK” came on which is from their recent album “”, “To Heart”, and “22 Century Girl” were the last two songs for Fromis_9 before exiting the stage.

EXID, made their grand entrance by coming out by ther fans in the audience for their song “Lady” from their recent album, which they next moved onto their most requested songs by fans “DDD”, and “Night Rather Than Day”, and of course the song that shook the k-pop industry again due to Hani’s fancam “Up & Down” was the last song performed before the lights dimmed.

Another special stage was prepared as Fromis_9 Jiwon & Golden Child Joochan came out to do a Duet.

NCT 127, starting with Taeyong as he started off with a powerful dance performance to show why he is the main dancer of NCT and adding a few more NCT 127 members to filled the stage for their dance intoduction. They move along with their bright song “Touch” from their album “Empathy” then continuing with “Firetruck”, “0 Mile”, “Limitless”, and ending their stage with their most requested song that took over the States last year during lat year’s KCON LA 2017 “Cherry Bomb”.

Wanna One was the last group to come out and perform, this will also be their last year together as Wanna One as their contract is coming to an end. Each unit came out to perform a small part of their songs and made it into a medley. Afterwards, they came together as a group for “Light” which is their newest song from their album “1÷x 1=1 (Undivided)”, followed by “Kangaroo”, “Beautiful”, and finishing up with their song “Energetic” from their debut album “1X1=1 (To Be One)”. Ending this year’s KCON NY 2018 with another great year.
