On August 3rd 2018, Jun will debut as a brand new icon in the music scene. Partnering with several professionals in the Korean music industry, Jun will give his listeners a sound that will take them by surprise. Titled, ‘Hold It Down,’ this single is a high-energy song that knows no boundaries. The inspiration for this song is derived from his own self-reflection on the inner struggles of self-suppression. “I am limited in the things I can do due to my fear of losing the one stable thing in my life” Jun likes to think the song as an interpretation of him being unable to let himself truly be who he is. The song and its visual representation is meant to show the world that Jun is here. “I want to be able to develop my skillsets and push my limits to becoming an artist…I will be pushing myself to the fullest potential and change the ordinary notions how of someone is able to become an artist.” Jun is determined, prepared, and ready to give listeners a look into his world and what he can do. The song was produced by Nathan & Eden, whose credits include popular idol groups such as Seventeen and BTOB. Lyrics were composed by Korean-solo artist WOODZ. Music video was directed by Jimin Choi.
