DUA LIPA X BLACKPINK First Collaboration, KISS AND MAKE UP Released

Dua Lipa‘s collaboration with K-Pop megastars BLACKPINK will be out on Oct 19th, along with the re-issue of her acclaimed self-titled debut album.

The collaboration was first hinted when Dua posted a picture of her with Lisa & Jennie from BLACKPINK backstage at her concert in Seoul, Korea. Dua finally confirmed it on Sept. 4th when she announced that she’ll be releasing a super deluxe edition of her self-titled album next month, and one of the three new songs will feature the K-pop quartet BLACKPINK. YG Entertainment confirmed the news to Billboard shortly after.

The new song, titled “Kiss and Make Up”, will be the first international collaboration for the girl group, who made history earlier this year when their Square Up album and single “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” became the highest-charting ones from a Korean female act ever on the Billboard charts.

After announcing the news on Twitter, Dua Lipa later thanked fans for their outpouring of support and expressed sadness about the final version of Dua Lipa, but there will be much more to look forward to from the pop-megastar.
