Gangwon Province of Korea and KTO Collaborate with Astro for Olympic Legacy Travelogue
On 24th October 2018, Gangwon Province of Korea and Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) Kuala Lumpur Office hosted the press conference at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur to sign a MOU contract with Astro on the special Olympic Legacy travelogue program entitled 《Endless Horizon in Gangwon, Korea》 for the Malaysian
audience.
2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympian as well as the celebrity of this travelogue, Julian Yee Zhi-Jie is appointed as the tourism ambassador of Gangwon Province and to share his special experience in 2009 Korean Dream Program in Pyeongchang which inspired him to learn more about skating and made him finally participate in the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympic Games.
Julian Yee stated, “I am greatly honoured to be a tourism ambassador of Gangwon Province of Korea, home of the successful PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games. I was able to fulfil that dream in my first participation in PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games. Personally, it feels very meaningful for me to be the Tourism Ambassador of Gangwon Province, the place where I could make my dreams come true. I will work passionately to promote the beautiful and romantic Gangwon Province to Malaysians as a Gangwon Tourism Ambassador”.
In 《Endless Horizon in Gangwon, Korea》, Julian Yee and Yoke, well known as the host of Astro AEC’s Ready to Fly will visit PyeongChang and Gangneung, the host cities of Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympic Games to feature
many unique Olympic legacy themed activities, especially Winter programs such as skiing, curling game, PyeongChang trout festival and others. The 5 episodes of the travelogue will be broadcasted on Astro Wah Lai Toi every Sunday from 3 February 2019 in conjunction with the first anniversary of PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games.

We expect Malaysian audience be charmed by the Winter tourism in Gangwon Province, Korea and visit celebrate this meaningful event together with us.”
