[Event Coverage] SAMSUNG Launched 1st Quad Camera Lens on a Phone

SAMSUNG launched the GALAXY A7/A9 at W Hotel Kuala Lumpur yesterday, with Korean stars, Yook Sung Jae from BTOB and AOA. The launch, attended by many is also streamed live from Milan.

The new GALAXY A7/A9 which features the first quad lens rear camera for a phone promises 4x fun for the Instagram generation with many new features, which includes – 24MP resolution, a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, an ultra-wide lens with scene optimization and a depth lens.

The phone also comes with 128 gigabytes of storage and up to 512 gigabytes of expandable memory, which makes it perfect for people who love to take photos and videos but never having enough storage space to keep all of them in their phones.

AOA who was there at the launch explained that the camera feature Scene Optimizer helps them get perfect selfie’s as the feature let’s you adjust the color, contrast and brightness to optimize your picture, while Yook Sungjae prefers the wide angle feature to take pictures with his fans.

The new Galaxy A7 is available in stores now for RM1,299 in Blue, Black, Pink and Gold while fans of the Galaxy A9 will have to wait as the phone with quad camera will only be available next month in Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue and Bubblegum Pink.
