Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd today showcased its latest innovations, as well as outlined its vision and strategy for intelligent Internet of Things (IoT) experiences at the 2019 Samsung Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO) Forum. Impressing thousands at the 2019 Samsung SEAO Forum is the brand’s 2019 line-up featuring the 65”, 75”, 82”, and 85” QLED TV models; but it was Samsung’s 98” QLED 8K TV, the brand’s largest model, that stole the show. Unveiled by Samsung Electronics as an industry first, its proprietary machine-learning Quantum processor employs its AI capabilities to learn and compare millions of images that help it to calibrate lower-resolution sources and optimize them into 8K-quality content regardless of the original format.
