3 Meals A Day is back on tvN

The long-awaited variety series by Na Young-seok, a.k.a. Na PD, 3 Meals A Day – Mountain Village, will premiere on tvN in Asia on 17 August (Saturday) at 21:00 (GMT+8).

In the latest season, top rated drama Sky Castle’s Yum Jung-ah and Yoon Se-ah, as well as 2019 Cannes Film Festival Palme D’or winner Parasite’s Park So-dam, will embark on a healing journey around a mountain village in the Gangwon Province. Featuring a stellar all-female cast for the very first time, the series is going to amaze the audience with a brand-new visual pleasure that brings one-of-a-kind freshness and countless laughter.

The trio will kick off their self-sufficient life in a remote village and use whatever available to prepare their three meals every day. “Indeed, the past series focused heavily on showing the audience a lot of scrumptious dishes. This time, on the other hand, we intend to depict a more realistic and organic view of village life, allowing the audience to have a better taste of rurality. The three actresses are all rookie chefs, but they always try their best when facing challenges, making the series more realistic and hilarious,” remarked Na PD. Furthermore, it is revealed that various top artistes will appear in the series to have dinner with the trio. Jung Woo-sung, one of the most famous Korean actors, will be the first guest of the series.

The tranquil Gangwon Province draws a big contrast with the hustle and bustle of urban life. By showing the mesmerizing view of rural landscapes and Mother Nature along with appetizing food, the show can definitely become the chicken soup for the soul. Stay tuned every Saturday for a soul-healing journey!
