Junoflo to Perform at Maho Rasop Festival in Bangkok

Returning to Bangkok’s Live Park Rama 9 for its second edition, from 16 and 17 November 2019, Maho Rasop Festival announces its complete lineup, rounding up the list of acts set to perform on the massive weekend.

The official dropped list of Maho Rasop 2019’s headliner names has grasped the attention from festival-goers across the globe. Bombay Bicycle Club and King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard have been announced as the final headliners. Aussie psych rock act will headline on the Saturday, UK indie band on the Sunday, and co-headlined by The Horrors and The Drums respectively.

Bangkok’s first international independent music festival has just welcomed more much-loved acts to the lineup packed with the well-curated mix of international, regional,

and local acts. From slaying Glastonbury 2019, to embarking on a European leg in major cities such as Amsterdam, New York, and Toronto, Taiwan award-winning indie-rock heroes 草東沒有派對 No Party For Cao Dong (“Wayfarer”, “Simon Says”) is everywhere right now! After finishing the show for Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this October, the biggest Chinese speaking rock band will debut their Bangkok’s festival show at Maho Rasop 2019.

Down the bill with more international and regional acts, the first Korean rapper performing at NBA halftime show, Junoflo (“Grapevine”, “Fables”) is set to rev-up Maho Rasop’s week on Saturday, Paris-based purveyor of hip-hop and beatmaking, Arnaud Antoine Rene Bernard aka Onra (“Ms. Ho”, “Bye Bye”) will make his first-time appearance in Bangkok with his soulful hip-hop DJ set, Canadian rapper and songwriter bbno$ (“Lalala”, “Rotisserie”), whose single with Y2K has been streamed on Spotify over 200 millions of times, will rejuvenate Maho Rasop with invigorating Sunday performance, and Jakarta-based record producer, composer and multi instrumentalist, FA Poetra Tiardha under the moniker Gulf of Meru (“Entré”) will bring his mixture of ambient, post-rock, electronic, and experimental tunes for Bangkok fans to get down with.

Rounding up the newly-listed of local acts includes DJ Maft Sai, the one-sixth of the famous 21st Century Molam “The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band”, who will offer his eclectic mixed spin of luk-thung, molam, Thai funk, West African, Ethiopian, Far Eastern sound, DCNXTR (“Summer Rain”, “Echo”), the electronic duo who were just selected to perform at SXSW 2019 earlier this year, will blow your mind with their energetic synthetic pop and dream pop melodies, New York/Bangkok-based multidisciplinary artist-slash-fashion designer queer DJ Nuh Peace known for their combination of underground and experimental club music, and Martian Child a.k.a. Jeeraw, a DJ-slash-fashion photographer who has been expanding local fan-base in Bangkok’s underground club scene with his raving house.
