Lee Seunggi Treats Fans To Pleasant Surprises At His Asia Fanmeeting In Singapore

South Korea’s “Triple Threat Entertainer” Lee Seung Gi has returned to Singapore for his Asia Fanmeeting, <VAGABOND VOYAGE>. The tour marks his 15th year in showbiz, as the star celebrates this special milestone with fans from all over the world, whom he affectionately addresses as Airens.

The Singapore Fanmeet was kicked off with much excitement as Lee Seung Gi embraces the audience with a sentimental performance of ‘Because You’re My Woman’, the debut song that propelled him into spotlight some 15 years ago.

Having debuted in 2004, Lee Seung Gi has accumulated numerous accomplishments across multiple platforms over the years, as he received accolades in the singing, acting and hosting fields. Known for his famed roles in popular K-dramas Brilliant Legacy (2009), My Girlfriend is A Nine-Tailed Fox (2010), A Korean Odyssey (2018) among many others, Lee Seung Gi has rose to become one of South Korea’s most well-loved actors. His latest drama series, Vagabond, is an instant hit with fans and viewers since its premiere in September 2019, maintaining and dominating the top spot in its time slot with its intensely thrilling scenes.

Playing the role of a stunt actor in Vagabond, Lee Seung Gi revealed more stories of the action scenes done by his drama character ‘Cha Dal-gun’ through behind-the-scenes footage. He also names the chasing scene as one of his favourites in the TV series, which was featured in the first episode of Vagabond.

Aside from sharing about his drama project, Lee Seung Gi also entertained fans with his humour and variety skills during the Fanmeet, bringing much laughter across the floor when he demonstrated how to manage a trot version of ‘Because You’re My Woman’ with his special techniques.

The evening continued as the singer-actor belts out a string of nostalgic songs for his fans, including melancholic ballad hits ‘Return’ and ‘Delete’, as well as upbeat tracks ‘Smile Boy’ and ‘Let’s Go On Vacation’.

At the end of the intimate Fanmeet, Lee Seung Gi took the opportunity to express his gratitude to fans for their unwavering support over the past 15 years and left them with heartfelt messages. After wrapping up the Singapore leg of <VAGABOND VOYAGE>, he will be heading to Kuala Lumpur (November 30) next for the final stop of his Asia Fanmeeting Tour.
