K-Dramas That Go Beyond The Typical Love Triangle

So much more eye candy!

Love triangles are the bread and butter of romance dramas. Who wouldn’t want more than one handsome suitor fawning over them? It’s definitely an indulgent and fun fantasy. So what’s even better than two dashing guys? Three or four! More love interests definitely up the ante and increase the eye candy factor. There’s also room for more bromances as the men sometimes bond over their shared love. Check out these cute K-dramas filled with plenty of swoon-worthy moments.

Oh My Baby

Oh My Baby features three different baby daddy contenders for magazine editor Jang Ha-ri (Jang Na-ra). First up, we have hot photographer Han I-sang (Ko Jun) who initially thinks Ha-ri is kind of crazy, but finds himself attracted to her. Then we have doctor Yoon Jae-young (Park Byung-eun) who is an old friend of Ha-ri’s. He’s also recently divorced and struggling to take care of his young daughter. Last but not least, there’s Ha-ri’s younger colleague Choi Kang-eu-tteum (Jung Gun-joo) who is oh so cute. In addition to the funny hijinks, Oh My Baby offers a thoughtful look at fertility and love.

Was It Love?

Was It Love? has a whopping number of four men vying for Noh Ae-jeong (Song Ji-hyo)’s heart. From best-selling author Oh Dae-o (Son Ho-jun), top star Ryu Jin (Song Jong-ho), sexy former gangster Koo Pa-do (Kim Min-jun), and kind teacher Oh Yeon-woo (Koo Ja-sung), there’s a type for everyone. Four guys might feel like a headache for Ae-jeong, but it’s heartwarming to see her have many strong supporters. In the process, Ae-jeong rediscovers love and herself.

Cinderella and the Four Knights

Cinderella and the Four Knights is definitely a K-drama fairytale. After her college tuition is stolen by her stepmother, Eun Ha-won (Park So-dam) gets the opportunity to move into a mansion and live with three good-looking billionaire cousins. There’s also a hunky bodyguard! After suffering mistreatment from her stepmother and stepsister, sweet Ha-won receives much affection from the handsome guys. There’s more to the story than just romance though as they become their own kind of family and reconcile past hurts.

Love Alarm

Love Alarm starts out with Lee Hye-yeong (Jung Ga-ram) harboring a secret crush on Kim Jo-jo (Kim So-hyun) who is already in a relationship with judo athlete Il-shik (Shin Seung-ho). To add on to all of this, popular model Hwang Sun-oh (Song Kang) starts developing feelings for Jo-jo even though he knows his best friend Hye-yeong likes her too. It’s basically every schoolgirl’s fantasy come true. Except Jo-jo is not a typical school girl and is more preoccupied with making ends meet. We can’t wait to find out who she ends up with and how that might affect the cutest bromance between Sun-oh and Hye-yeong.

You Are Beautiful

If you’re a K-pop fan, you have to check out the classic hit You Are Beautiful. Go Mi-nyu (Park Shin-hye) is a nun-in-training when she has to pose as her twin brother Mi-nam. Mi-nam wins the audition to join the band A.N.Jell, so Mi-nyu has to pretend to be a band member on top of pretending to be a guy. Her three bandmates end up falling for her after most of them discover she’s a girl. This drama is full of crazy antics and comedy as the different members express their love for Mi-nyu.
