KCON:TACT 3, the largest online K-culture festival where fans can meet the biggest and fast rising K-Pop artists all in one place, has revealed the first round of artists set to perform. ENHYPEN, EVERGLOW, HA SUNG WOON, iKON, ITZY, OH MY GIRL, THE BOYZ, and WOODZ will take the KCON:TACT 3 stage when the event takes place, March 20-28.

Organizers CJ ENM has announced that the concept for KCON:TACT 3 is a K-Pop world tour and to do so, they will utilize state-of-the-art AR technology to create global stages from various venues where KCON has taken place over the years like the US, Japan, France, Thailand, and more. The goal is to recreate the in-person concert atmosphere where fans and artists can connect even more.

Fans attending KCON:TACT 3 can expect immersive live concert performances and interactive meet & greet sessions with the artists attending, as well as on-demand programs similar to those found at past KCON conventions. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

The highly anticipated KCON:TACT first timers ENHYPEN will make their way to the global stage. This global rookie group has also been chosen as one of TIME’s “Groups to listen to in 2021.” ENHYPEN has gathered fans worldwide due to Mnet’s “I-LAND,” and their albums have made their way into charts all over the world including Billboard and Japan’s Oricon charts.

KCON:TACT veterans EVERGLOW are also set to perform. Their mini album ‘-77.82X-78.29’s title track LA DI DA was selected by Billboard as ‘The 20 Best K-Pop Songs of 2020: Critics’ Picks’ as well as TIME ‘The Songs and Albums That Defined K-Pop’s Monumental Year in 2020.’

Ha Sung Woon has also topped the charts with his drama OST as well as his newest song ‘Forbidden Island’ which has reached over 10 million views on the music video alone. Ha Sung Woon’s ability to take on various concepts in addition to his producing and song-writing skills, will exhibit his widened musical spectrum on the stage.

Following the news of their six member comeback, iKON has gathered the attention from fans and various news outlets. Along with their numerous hit songs, last year their mini album ‘iDECIDE’ reached #1 in 24 different countries on the iTunes music charts. Many fans are anticipating their first appearance as a six member team on the KCON:TACT stage.

ITZY has won the ‘Discovery Award’ at the 30th High1 Seoul Music Awards, ‘Rookie of the Year’ at the 10th Gaon Chart Music Awards, and the ‘Digital Song Division’ at the 35th Golden Disk Awards just 2 years after their debut. With all of their songs hitting the millions in views and streaming, they live up to their nickname of the ‘monster rookies.’

The seven member girl group OH MY GIRL topped the charts last year with their mini album’s title track ‘Nonstop.’ The song awarded them trophy after trophy on the weekly music shows and year end award shows placing them in the top girl group status.

The final winners of Mnet’s hit show ‘Road to Kingdom,’ THE BOYZ, have proven their exponential growth by their album sales increasing 338%. They were awarded the ‘Best Performance Award’ at the 30th High1 Seoul Music Awards and the ‘Next Generation Award’ at the 35th Golden Disk Awards making them one of the highest anticipated boy groups of the year.

Last but certainly not the least, the all-rounder, multi-talented WOODZ has joined the lineup of KCON:TACT 3. WOODZ proved his musical talents by producing and writing all of the songs in his 2nd mini album ‘WOOPS’. He is expected to show off his unique style in the upcoming KCON:TACT 3.
